Our mobile and desktop applications, include, but are not limited to: HYTORC CONNECT app; HYTORC SERVICE app; and any future apps designed to work with HYTORC Products and/or to interact with our Websites (collectively, “Apps”).

This policy applies to information we collect:

  • On our Websites and through our Products and Apps.
  • In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and our Websites, Products and Apps.
  • Through our Apps which provide dedicated non-browser-based interaction between you and our Websites, Products and Apps.
  • When you interact with our advertising, applications on third-party websites and services, if those applications or advertising include links to this policy.

It does not apply to information collected by:

  • Us offline or through any other means; or
  • Any unaffiliated third party, even if linked to or accessible from or on our Websites.

Persons Under the Age of 13.

Our Websites, Products and Apps are not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to or on our Websites, Products and Apps. Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It.

We collect several types of information from and about users of our Websites, Products, and Apps, including:

  • Personal Information.

    By which you may be personally identified, such as name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, any other information defined as personal or personally identifiable under applicable law, or any other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline.

When using HYTORC's CONNECT app or similar Apps, we collect analytics related to the tools connected through the app. This includes data such as the device type (e.g., Windows, iOS, Android), tool model, serial number, firmware versions, cycle count, last calibration date, and tool-specific settings, such as bolting parameters, torque, and angle applied. Additionally, we collect the date and time of each connection between the tool and the app, tool administrator's settings, and usage patterns within the app. Geographic location data, including IP addresses and GPS coordinates (if location services are enabled), may also be collected, which allows us to understand tool usage patterns across different locations, such as determining where a tool is being used.

For Apps such as the HYTORC CONNECT app, explicit consent will be obtained for collecting sensitive data, including IP addresses and geolocation data if enabled. Users will be prompted to approve the collection of location services before such data is gathered. Users can also manage their consent settings at any time within the app or their device settings.

We collect this information:

  • Directly from you when you provide it to us.
  • Automatically as you navigate through our Websites, Products, and Apps. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, access dates and times, and information collected through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies.
  • From third parties, such as our business partners or analytics services.

The information we collect on or through our Websites, Products, and Apps may include:

    1. Substitution of HYTORC.
